Provisional plan of major activities, RMC 2010-2013

Fall 2010:

Meeting of the Nordic partners; Helsinki
Theme: Planning and laying out the master plan for the work. What is music censorship in relation to the academic study of music? Definitions and precisions.
Participants: Nordic group with guests

Spring 2011;

First workshop with international partners; Copenhagen, Denmark 5th and 6th of May
Theme; Contested spaces: War, Torture, Violence, Suppression and Power
The Nordic groups and invited partners.
 
The 1st PhD seminar will take place in connection to the workshop, Copenhagen, 5th of May 

Fall 2011;

Second meeting of Nordic partners - extended with keynote speakers and invited lectures; Lund, Sweden, 29th and 30th of September
Theme: Gender and race
Participants: The Nordic groups with guests

2nd PhD students seminar will be held in Lund 29th of September with keynote speaker(s) from the extended group of associates. 

Spring 2012

Second workshop with international partners ; Oslo, Norway, 26th-27th of April
Theme: Censorship and self censorship (theory and ethics)
Participants: the Nordic groups with the extended group of associates.

Fall 2012

Meeting of Nordic partners extended with keynote speakers and invited lectures. Helsinki, Finland, 4th-5th of October
Theme: The public sphere: Religion and market
Participants: The Nordic core group with guests

3rd Research student’s meeting; Helsinki/Copenhagen

Spring and summer 2013

Final workshop and concluding international conference, Copenhagen, Denmark 6th-7th-8th of June
Theme; Researching Music censorship – what have we learned – how to continue?
Participants: All and invited scholars of law.

To this program smaller thematic meetings will take place currently – either focussed on a specific topic or as meetings of collaboration between national or thematic groups.
